Part 1: Main Characters of The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband

Olive

The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband: Olive

She is a young woman who is hardly charmed by extravagant things or luxury. Her existence has been difficult for quite a while, and she has learned to deal with that fact. Her life is subject the whims if her stepmother and the disturbingly dull machination of her stepsister.

Olive is quite amazing to say the least. Not only does she master the art living for herself, but she developed herself to such an extent that barely anyone can put her down with her consent.

The best thing about Olive’s character in The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband, is probably her unbending nature that goes so well with Elvis’s. The interaction between the two people is one for the books. Their undeniable connection makes one really loathe being single.

As the children of two of the most influential families in LA, you’d expect that they’d be living life however they like, but with their family names come responsibilities. Truth be told, the traditional aspects of arranged marriages give me a headache. Yes, they could divorce, sure. But will the traditional parents let them?

Seriously, pick and choose your poison. Freedom to love or the box. I commend the author for such planned comedy that really doesn’t feel invasive, but slow and captivating.

Part 2: The Story of The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband

The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband: Elvis and Olive

The tale follows Olive and Elvis who are thrown together by the hands of exploitative relatives. In Olive’s case, we see her devious and manipulative Aunt doing the devil’s work. In Elvis’s case, we see his adorable grandmother who just wants to see her great-grandson before she dies.

Nothing makes it okay to force two strangers into a relationship with each other, but this works. It’s Los Angeles and the weather’s fine, the two people in this case seem like they were made for each other. We see a young man who though is plagued by a problematic disease, goes out of his way to support the woman who came into his life so suddenly.

On the other hand, we have a woman who was completely disinvested in her own marriage, but suddenly can’t control her fear and worry for the man she came to know so quickly.

In The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband, through the ups and downs of a new marriage, the two people finally find stable ground.

The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband is steeped in enticing drama. The characters are excellent and not at all diminished by the scene or setting. If you want a similar read, then see Lycan School: The Hekate’s Bride.

The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband: A Bride

Part 4: Awesome Chapter from The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 9

The Substitute Bride Doted on By My Billionaire Husband: Elvis

Elvis quietly took out the first aid box from a drawer. He used a cotton wool dipped in methylated spirit to cleanse Olive’s wound, but didn’t forget to remind her that it was the consequence of telling him to say ‘get out’ the third time.

Olive was unremorseful as she questioned the domestic abuse that was uncalled-for.

Elvis replied to her in a soothing tone, questioning her decision to come in while knowing he’d be violent. Olive simply told him that she was unafraid of him unlike others.

When Elvis told her to leave once more, Olive stretched out her arms and hugged his muscular waist. She offered to keep him company.

Elvis froze and after a beat, leaned in and breathed in her scent which made him feel as though he had just eaten a strawberry jam.

In no time, Olive stood on tiptoe and bit hard into Elvis’s shoulder, drawing out blood.

In response, Elvis pinned her down on the couch, staring at her like she was prey.

He did not let her go, even leaning down to plant a kiss on her forehead and apologize for the bruise.

Olive tried to push him away to no avail. His hands slid to her cheeks and into her black hair. Olive trembled as she did not dare move a muscle. Their breaths entangled.

But as he got closer, Olive’s silver needle quickly pierced into Elvis’s arm, neatly too.

The man shut his eyes and collapsed beside her.
