"Bite me!" She exclaimed. "Are you offering?" He retorted, face impassible. While she was a fiery, outgoing teenager, he was an icy, introverted man. But more importantly, she was human, and he was a vampire. Opposites attract each other but Kelly and Andreas clashed too much to actually get along. Would it work? Would it fall apart? Nothing was certain.
"You're such a conceited, arrogant bastard!" In a heartbeat, he had my back against the wall. "I'm your conceited, arrogant bastard," he countered intensely. He was so close I could feel his body heat, yet not close enough to touch. I dampened my lips mechanically and his eyes followed the gesture hungrily. He closed the gap between us and leaned in a little so that his breath caressed my cheek, "I'm also very persistent. I always get what I want." I saw the unveiled determination in his eyes and my throat suddenly felt really dry. I gulped down nervously as a shiver of pure, unadulterated, unwanted want went down my spine. My heart was drumming against my ribcage, and I was soon taking small shallow breaths. "You're not unaffected by me," he whispered against the soft skin beneath my ear, while smothering it with butterfly kisses, "that's good to know." I could almost feel the smirk in his words. She was a loner, and she liked it that way. She lived by one sole rule: No attention, no boys, no drama, no troubles. And it worked for her just fine --until he came, that is. Jonathan was a new student; a hot new student and he definitely knew it. Add to that the fact that he's a werewolf, all strong and possessive male, and he was damn proud about it. To her utter despair, he took interest in her... her life shall never be the same again.
Cass (nickname for Acacia) doesn't understand why people think she is crazy. She leads a normal life. As normal as it could be while dating a gang leader, that is. Enters Adrian, a supposedly vampire prince –a schizophrenic, if she were to guess– and the real craziness begins.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Gabriel thundered, eyes glazed over with anger, his fingers digging into Lisa’s soft skin as he grabbed her arm. Lisa inwardly smirked at that while playing the innocent maiden on the surface. “What do you mean?” She and Gab were supposed to spend the evening together at hers. She had just been purposefully late enough for him to catch her with Chuck. “What do I mean?” He repeated incredulous, “Are you playing me?” Yes, she wanted to tell him, like a piano. “No, of course not,” was her flat response. ............................................ An unexpected encounter can lead to the steamiest romance... at least that's what Lisa is about to find out. And a story of love and deceit unfolds.
Never in her wildest dreams did Natasha ever think of cheating on Carl, her boyfriend... least of all with his brother. And yet, she was falling hard for the bad boy's charms even though he had been painted to her as the bad brother, the bad seed, the black sheep of the family. Could she resist the temptation? Dare she give in to it? Only time shall tell.
"You've never wanted a man this much, and it's fine because you're mine and you'll only ever be mine," he drawled huskily as he rested his forehead against hers. She licked her bee-stung lips as she sucked in a much-needed breath and then prepared to deny that arrogant statement of his. Her voice failed her though as she caught his smoldering hot look, and, inevitably, her body trembled with pleasure and her core throbbed in need. She couldn't find a sassy comeback no matter how much she wanted to because, deep down, she knew she was indeed his. Confessing to her stepbrother and getting rejected had been the plan she had come up with so she could finally get over him. At 17, Jennifer's finally ready to move on, and sweet, caring Jeremy seems more than happy to mend her broken heart. Will she ever feel as strongly for him as she did for Lucas? Will she ever get over her stepbrother? Sometimes, she isn't quite so sure but still she tries.
